Doriane Pin – Rising Star of Motorsport Ready to Conquer Every Category
From Karting Champion to Ferrari Challenge Winner and Iron Dames Prototype Driver, Now Targeting F1 Academy Title with Mercedes and PREMA

Doriane Pin was born on January 6, 2004, in Ivry‑sur‑Seine, France. Growing up in a family deeply connected to motorsport—her father organised karting events—she was immersed in racing culture from childhood. At the age of nine, she finally took to the karting circuit, though she initially had to wait due to her size and age. Even in those early karting years, she frequently found herself the only girl on the grid, yet she embraced the challenge and established early on that equal tools meant equal opportunity.
Her karting achievements include finishing 10th and then 5th in junior French championships before clinching the national female category title in 2019. That success opened doors: she was selected as a finalist for the FIA Girls on Track – Rising Stars programme—an initiative aimed at elevating young female talent. Through that, she gained testing opportunities and drew the attention of teams such as the all‑female project Iron Dames.
In 2020, Doriane made her car‑racing debut in the Renault Clio Cup France, and in 2021 she progressed to the Michelin Le Mans Cup GT3 class, driving for Iron Lynx alongside experienced teammates. That year, with several podiums to her name, she made a name for herself as a driver adaptable across disciplines. The turning point arrived in 2022 when she dominated the Ferrari Challenge Europe, securing nine wins out of fourteen races, clinching the title early and collecting numerous poles and fastest laps. That same year she was awarded the prestigious Volant d’Or by the French Motorsport Federation (FFSA) for her outstanding season.
Her endurance experience expanded further in 2023 when she made her prototype debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) with PREMA Racing in the LMP2 category. Driving alongside seasoned professionals, she achieved a podium finish and earned the accolade “Revelation of the Year” for her rookie campaign—an honour seldom granted to such young drivers.
In early 2024, Doriane took a major step in single‑seaters: she joined the junior programme of Mercedes‑AMG Petronas F1 Team and was signed for the F1 Academy with PREMA Racing. Her first season in F1 Academy was highly successful: multiple race wins, podiums, and strong performances propelled her to the runner‑up position in the standings. For 2025, she confirmed that she will continue with PREMA in both F1 Academy and the Formula Regional series, with a clear target: the championship title. While the ultimate goal remains Formula 1, Doriane emphasises that each step—karting, GT, endurance, single‑seaters—is part of a methodical ascent.
Today, Doriane Pin stands out as one of the most promising young talents in global motorsport. Her versatility across categories—karting, GT, endurance, formula racing—her championship titles and her association with top‑tier teams and manufacturers make her a driver to watch. She combines ambition, discipline and a clear vision of her path. More than just results, she represents the changing face of motorsport, where talent and opportunity can transcend gender. As she likes to say: “I want to win everything.” And with her track record, the world is paying attention.
